Barson St Housing Project (Nuevo Sol)

Comprised of 13 units of housing for homeless individuals, this project was completed for a local non-profit housing developer. The project included the renovation of 11 existing cottages and the design and construction of two new buildings with two housing units and a manager’s unit over a community center with laundry, office and a community meeting area. The site also included the development of a community garden. This project has won an AIA Monterey Bay citation award for design excellence.
